1. What Are TradFi Perpetual Futures?
TradFi Perpetual Futures are USDT-settled perpetual contracts that track the price of traditional financial assets — including commodities, equities, and indices. These contracts allow you to gain exposure to the price movements of traditional markets without holding the underlying asset.
They work the same way as crypto perpetual futures on Flipster: no expiry date, USDT-settled, and using a funding rate mechanism to keep the contract price aligned with the underlying asset.
If you're already trading crypto perps on Flipster, you can start trading TradFi Perps from the same account — no additional setup needed.
2. What Can You Trade?
Flipster currently offers TradFi Perpetual Futures across commodities, equities, and indices, including Gold, NVIDIA, S&P 500, and more. across three asset classes:
| Asset Class | Examples | Max Leverage |
|---|---|---|
| Commodities | Gold (XAU), Silver (XAG), Crude Oil (CL, BZ), Natural Gas, Copper | up to 100x |
| Equities | AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, MSFT, AMZN, META, GOOGL, and more | up to 10x |
| Indices | SPY (S&P 500), QQQ (Nasdaq 100), EWY, EWJ | up to 10x |
