Q: What is SSO?
A: Social sign-on (SSO) is a session and user authentication service that permits a user to use one set of login credentials to access multiple applications.
Q: What login credentials does Flipster support for SSO?
A: At the moment we support SSO through user Google accounts and Apple IDs.
Q: Can I sign in with my email address if I signed up with SSO?
A: Yes. As long as the user had signed up for a Flipster trading account with the same specific email address prior to signing up for SSO.
Q: What happens if I sign up with my email address and my Google account with the same email address?
A: If the user signs up with an Apple ID or Google account bearing the same email address as that is registered to an existing Flipster trading account, both login credentials will be binded to the same Flipster account.
Q: Why can’t I sign up with SSO?
A: Users must agree to the terms of use and privacy policy in order to complete SSO registration. In addition, users must be exempted from email verification.
