The Average Purchase Price feature helps users track the average cost of acquiring a specific token under spot trading. After each buy order, the system will automatically update and display the average purchase price based on the user's accumulated holdings.
This feature provides traders with a clearer understanding of their cost basis, making it easier to monitor profitability and make informed trading decisions.
How Does It Work?
-
The average purchase price is calculated in real-time after each buy order within spot trading.
-
The calculation starts from today’s date, meaning that prior trading history will not be factored in automatically. However, users can manually adjust the average purchase price if needed (an edit feature is provided for this purpose).
-
Profit and Loss (P&L) is calculated using the index price, which may differ from the actual spot market price. In future updates, P&L calculations will use our exchange price for improved accuracy.
-
Currently, this feature is available only for supported spot trading pairs. If you hold a token that is not listed under supported spot pairs, its average purchase price and P&L will not be displayed.

Things to Note
-
The average purchase price calculation begins from today, meaning historical purchases are not automatically included.
-
P&L is based on the index price, which may not match the spot market price at all times.
-
Only supported spot pairs will display their average purchase price and P&L.
