What is Position History?
Position History refers to a record of the user's past positions in trading activities such as margin trading or futures trading. This section provides a detailed overview of the user's open and closed positions, including relevant information such as entry and exit points, profit and loss (P&L), leverage used, and margin requirements.
How to view my ‘Position History’?
To access your “Position History" section on Flipster, follow these steps:
Navigate to the [History] tab or section. This can usually be found in the main menu or dashboard. Once in the [History] section, you should see [Position]. Click in to view your historical positions.
Definition
- Date Open:
The date and time when a position was opened. - Date Close:
The date and time when a position was closed. - Symbol:
Refers to the contract/symbol traded. - Side:
Refers to the direction of a position. - Margin Mode
Refers to the margin mode used for the position - Leverage:
Refers to the leverage used. - Total P&L:
Represents the actual total profit or loss realized from the closed position. - Quantity:
Refers to the contract size of the position. - Entry Price:
Refers to the opening price of the position. - Avg. Closing Price:
Refers to the average closing price of the position.
